  • Inhouse training of the customer personnel on the simulation of a TCS-Synthesis with AspenPlus V7.1. Onsite simulation support

  • Thermodynamic appraisal of the solubility of several supercritical components as a function of pressure and temperature in different solvents
  • Elaboration of equipment-based drafts to safety and reliability standards for an agent distillate desulfurization plant in the context of a safety appraisal using the check list method as well as the following implementation of the corresponding HAZOP at the customer
  • Mapping out a model in Visual Flow 5.0 (SimSci-Esscor™) and making the appropriate simulation study to determine the streaming conditions in a system of pipings, furnace and stripper in the case of pipe burst in the upstream highly pressurized heat exchanger of an HDS plant
  • Issue and update of a basic specification for valves and instruments in the context of the construction of an ethylene plant in the arabian region as well as in the context of a revamp of an ethylene plant in the european region. The co-ordination and the data management between several / all involved departments (chemistry, measurement and control technology, operating technology, process engineering, apparatus engineering, machine technology) ensured the successful completion of this task
  • Basic design including the appraisal of investment costs of a petroleum gas desulfurization plant by exercising the coordination tasks of the specialty departments (layout planning / construction planning / EMSR-planning). The communicating of the results to the costumer completes this job
  • Concept definition and basic design for a tank truck terminal for waste sour water out of a sour water stripper of a refinery plant
  • Basic design of several energy saving projects including the corresponding calculation of the investment costs.
  • Engineering of a helium recycle gas compressor as a package unit from the system engineering & startup perspective, including interface coordination between the technical departments and the external partners involved. This task includes the transfer of the package unit PIDs of the subsupplier, the conversion of the PIDs according to the customer’s project requirements, taking into account the relevant interfaces and the implementation of the HAZOP.
    Checking and approving the submitted project documents in Documentum completes this task. These are, inter alia, PIDs, functional descriptions, and „cause & effects“ documents.
  • Processing tasks of the Process Design Package & the basic engineering for the following utilities:
    • Refrigeration system
    • Power plant for generating power and different kinds of steam with use of backing boiler with ECO, evaporator and overheating part as well as of appropriate steam turbines
    • Balance of the above-named system including all relevant processing parts for simulating various normal operation modes as well as all possible transitions between a normal operation mode and a safe operating point in the case of a sensitive failure in the plant

  • Consulting about and processing of tasks of the basic and detailed design / acquisition of a seawater desalination unit of several power plants abroad. Preparing the corresponding documentation, communicating and coordinating the results towards the local and overseas partners and clients.
  • Processing of tasks of the basic design / acquisition of the water supply system and the appropriate wastewater storage of several power plants abroad. Preparing the corresponding documentation and communicating the results to the partners and clients.
  • Site support during commissioning of the water treatment plant including corresponding operator training.
  • Technical support for the claim management team of the client.
  • Elaboration in CHEMCAD of the mass and heat balance of an H2SO4 enrichment. Study of the phase behaviour of an H2O / H2SO4-mixture against the background of thermal demixing
  • Elaboration of the mass and heat balance of a sewage combustor in the context of an energy saving project
  • Elaboration in CHEMCAD of the mass and heat balance of a petroleum gas desulfurization plant
  • Inputs related to the PID processing of an NGL / NRU plant in Amursky / Russia
  • PID processing of a helium liquefaction plant (helium recycle gas compression) in Amursky / Russia with different depths. Participation in the corresponding HAZOP.
